We are gearing up for the 2018 General Election. Please be sure to mark your calendars and save the date for the Springfield Democratic Committee’s Annual Cocktail Party on September 14, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Karen Kampmeyer-Mannix and Rob Mannix have once again agreed to open their home for this event. The Mannix home, located at 620 Hey Lane in Springfield is also known as the Samuel Levis House, one of Springfield’s oldest and most historic homes. The “Checkerboard” House and former Colonial Plantation, frequented by William Penn, dates to the late 1600s and includes original features such as wood floors, woodwork, walk-in fireplace, and tunnels said to be part of the Underground Railroad. Do not miss out on this opportunity to meet and discuss issues with Springfield Democrats and Democratic Party candidates, and tour one of Springfield’s oldest and most historic homes.
This is a great opportunity to see a truly unique home in Springfield while meeting fellow Democrats from Springfield and around Delaware County as we prepare to RE-ELECT U.S. Senator Bob Casey and Governor Tom Wolf, and ELECT Mary Gay Scanlon for Congress, Swarthmore Mayor Tim Kearney in PA Senate District 26, and Springfield’s own Jennifer O’Mara in PA House District 165.
Individual tickets are $25. Sponsorships are available for $100 (includes 2 tickets), $150 (includes 3 tickets) and $250 (includes 5 tickets).
